Dr. McGee graduated with honors and distinction from Cornell University, earning a degree in Nutritional Sciences. Prior to beginning her medical education, she conducted research for one year at Weill Cornell Medical College. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University School of Medicine and subsequently completed her internship at Mount Sinai West/Morningside. Dr. McGee then returned to New York University to complete her residency in ophthalmology. She pursued subspecialty training through an anterior segment fellowship at Massachusetts Eye, Harvard Ophthalmology, with a focus on cataract surgery, refractive procedures, complex anterior segment surgery, corneal disease, and glaucoma.

Dr. McGee’s clinical interests include cataract and refractive surgery. She offers advanced cataract surgical options, including femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, astigmatism correction, and the implantation of premium intraocular lenses, such as multifocal and Light Adjustable Lenses. Her expertise also encompasses refractive procedures, including photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK), and Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) placement. Additionally, Dr. McGee provides comprehensive management of dry eye disease and corneal ectatic disorders, such as keratoconus, utilizing treatments including corneal cross-linking and Corneal Tissue Addition Keratoplasty (CTAK). She also has experience in the surgical management of pterygium.

Dr. McGee maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Her personal interests include figure skating and spending time with her family.
