We are Excited to Introduce Dan Luther MD
Dr. Luther is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and has joined Microsurgical Eye Consultants in December 2019.
Dr. Luther, originally from Orinda California, graduated from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in Physiological Science. He then earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed his internship at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and his surgical residency in Ophthalmology at Boston University Medical Center. He has participated in global health by helping provide care in countries around the world including Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Lesotho.
Dr. Luther’s professional affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Luther’s special interests include refractive cataract surgery, global health, quality improvement, and work-life integration.
Dr. Luther’s personal interests include cooking, spending time with his family, and playing with his puppy, Charlie.
