Richard C. Rodman, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship trained corneal, cataract and refractive surgeon. A graduate of Brown University and Brown University School of Medicine, Dr. Rodman completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center/University of Michigan, where he was selected to serve as a Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital of Philadelphia, where he gained extensive experience with corneal transplantation and Laser Vision Correction.

Dr. Rodman has been in private practice since 1997. He has performed over 2,000 Laser Vision Correction procedures and over 5,000 cataract surgeries. He is highly experienced in the use of the Intralase iFS Femtosecond laser, allowing for the bladeless creation of the LASIK flap. He also uses the Allegretto Wave Eye-Q excimer laser to perform Wavefront-Optimized LASIK and PRK procedures. Dr. Rodman was among the first surgeons in New England to offer Femtosecond Laser-Assisted cataract surgery to his patients.

Dr. Rodman maintains staff privileges at Surgisite Boston, an Ophthalmic Surgery Center in Waltham, North Shore Medical Center, Beverly Hospital (a member of Lahey Health), and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the New England Ophthalmological Society, and the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
